Kristen joined Summit Physical Therapy in the fall of 2016. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience in 2005, she went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2012.
Prior to working at Summit, Kristen worked in both the outpatient orthopedic setting and the special needs/medically complex pediatric setting. She takes pride in bringing her experience and skills with very young or medically complex patients into the suburban and rural setting, offering treatment to those who may not traditionally be seen in an outpatient clinic.
She also has extensive experience with power mobility and adaptive equipment for both children and adults and believes her favorite patient group to treat is teenage and young adult athletes, particularly those with knee or shoulder injuries.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys all types of outdoor recreation and spending time with her two dogs, Chloe and Emma.
